From idea
to deployment.

I'm Vishal Ray, a full-stack software developer who enjoys turning ideas and real-world problems into practical software. I'm currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science at J B Institute of Technology, Dehradun, building on the foundation I developed during my Diploma in Computer Science.

I'm particularly interested in backend engineering—designing APIs, structuring databases, implementing authentication, and understanding how application components work together. I also enjoy full-stack development because building across the stack helps me understand a product beyond individual features.

Through freelance work, I've had the opportunity to build and deploy software for real business operations. Working through requirements, system design, implementation, and deployment has helped me understand the importance of building solutions around actual user and business needs, not just technical requirements.

Alongside my client work and internship, I build personal projects to explore new technologies and strengthen my engineering skills. I also practice data structures and algorithms and continue learning about software architecture, backend systems, and reliable application development. My goal is to keep growing as a software engineer who can take ownership of a problem and deliver a thoughtful, working solution.
